Man Utd to wait on new Lingard deal

11 November 2015 - 06:56

Manchester United are not convinced to offer a new contract to Jesse Lingard in spite of his impressive showings this season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 22-year-old scored the opening goal as United trumped West Bromwich Albion by a 2-0 scoreline in the Premier League last weekend.

Recent speculation had claimed that United could offer the young winger with a new deal on a bumper wage structure.

However, The Star understands that the Mancunian giants will not consider the player's contract status, and are willing to monitor his performances in the coming months.

Lingard has made seven appearances for United this season.
