The Spanish striker has struggled to cement a regular spot in the starting setup with manager Rafael Benitez favouring the likes of Karim Benzema and Lucas Vasquez ahead of him in the pecking order.

Jese is now thought to be assessing his future, and Marca claims that Los Blancos are willing to cash in on his services at the earliest opportunity.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to be eager to boost the club's striking options, and may well oblige by making an offer for the 22-year-old marksman.

Rodriguez has been limited to just eight league appearances for Real this term.
