Liverpool have reportedly been linked with a surprise move for AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp recently insisted that he was content with his goalkeeping options amidst reports that he was keen on replacing Simon Mignolet.

However, Spanish source Fichajes cites that experienced shot-stopper Diego Lopez has been identified as the perfect player to provide competition to Mignolet and Adam Bogdan for the number one role.

Lopez has not featured for the Rossoneri since he was displaced by 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma last month.
