Turkish side Besiktas have confirmed that they are pursuing a winter deal for out-of-favour Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.
The Colombian international has not featured for the Gunners ever since his howler in the 3-2 Champions League defeat against Olympiakos in September.
Ospina has since then been on the rumour page with several Turkish clubs known to be pursuing his services.
Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has now revealed they are interested in the 27-year-old shot-stopper, but have yet to hold negotiations with club or player.
"We are interested in Ospina," he said. "Him and goalkeepers of his calibre, but just because we want him does not mean he will come.
"We have to agree with his club and take his contract into consideration."
Ospina is currently playing second fiddle to Petr Cech for the number one role.
