Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been identified as a top target for Manchester United in the winter transfer window.

The Belgium international has been in top form for Toffees this season, and this is said to have caught the eye of the Mancunian giants.

According to ItaSportPress, United boss Louis van Gaal has been impressed by Lukaku's league showing, and is hopeful that he can lure the player to Old Trafford in the New Year.

It is also known that the Mancunian giants are exploring a deal for Lukaku's teammate John Stones.

Lukaku has scored 15 goals in all competitions for Everton this season.
