Roma have reportedly begun negotiations with Arsenal over a potential deal for French full-back Mathieu Debuchy.
The 30-year-old is expected to leave the Emirates this month with manager Arsene Wenger preferring Hector Bellerin for the right-back.
According to The Mirror, the Giallorossi are currently in advanced talks with the North London outfit over a short-term loan move for former Lille star.
It is added that the Serie A side will have the option of turning the deal into a permanent one for £8m at the end of the season.
Debuchy has made just two league appearances for the Gunners this term.
