Tottenham winger Andros Townsend is set to make a loan move to Newcastle United before the end of the week. The England international wants to make a move to save his international career ahead of Euro 2016.

Townsend has instructed his agent to discuss terms with Newcastle and is hopeful that a deal can be pushed through shortly. Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen's good form means that Townsend has so far struggled to force his way into the Spurs starting XI.
