West Ham plan Daniel Sturridge bid

20 January 2016 - 07:04

West Ham United are lining up a bid for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

  • Chelsea target Real Madrid star to replace Fernandez
  • Chelsea open to selling Josh Acheampong
  • The England international has had his fair share of injury problems in recent years and this has hampered his chances of featuring in the first-team.

Recent speculation had claimed that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could offload the 26-year-old in the near future as he is fed up with the player's ongoing injury troubles.

According to Brentwood Gazette, the Hammers are believed to be preparing a bid in the region of &pound18m to prise the talented striker from Anfield during the winter transfer window.

Sturridge joined the Reds from Chelsea in January 2013.
