Sunderland have reportedly lodged a renewed offer for Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew.

The Black Cats had failed with an &pound8m bid for the Ghana international last week.

According to The Mail, manager Sam Allardyce has apparently made the signing of Ayew his top priority for the ongoing transfer window.

The report adds that the Wearside club have offered &pound10m plus striker Fabio Borini in a desperate attempt to lure Ayew to the Stadium of Light this month.

Ayew has notched eight goals in the Premier League this season.
