Chelsea could make a late swoop for former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
The Netherlands international has struggled to show off his skills since his move to Turkey with Fenerbahce.
Guus Hiddink\'s side have been on the look out for a new striker this month, with Brazilian star Alexandre Pato said to have finalized terms over a proposed loan move.
However, according to The Express, the Premier League holders could come up with a late offer for Van Persie, should a move for Pato fall through at the last minute.
Van Persie has netted 11 goals in 26 games for Fener this term.
