Chelsea are reported to have accepted an £11.5m bid from Leicester City for striker Loic Remy.
The France international joined the Blues from Queens Park Ranger last year, and has since then played a bit-part role in the first-team.
Recent speculation had suggested that the Premier League holders could stick with the player, given their lack of firepower in the striking department.
However, talkSPORT reporter Ben Jacobs claims that the Foxes have agreed to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent deal as the Blues were unwilling to accept an initial loan agreement.
Remy has made a solitary league appearance this season.
