Stones eyeing summer Everton exit

John Stones favours Manchester move

03 February 2016 - 13:46

Everton defender John Stones is said to be keen a move to either Manchester United or Manchester City at the end of the season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 21-year-old had been the subject of several bids from Chelsea over the summer, but the Toffees stood firm in their desire to keep hold of his services.

Stones has since then put up a good showing in a Toffees shirt and this has led to claims that he may seek a big club move in the summer.

According to The Times, Stones is most likely to remain in the North West of England, should he decide to switch clubs in July.

It is added that the news has alerted United and City, who are said to be eager on signing a top-class central defender for the next campaign.

Stones is currently valued at around &pound50m by Everton.
