Chelsea not interested in Pellegrini

10 February 2016 - 07:03

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is not in the running to takeover the managerial role at Chelsea in the summer.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • The Chilean head coach will part ways with City at the end of the season with Pep Guardiola already announced as his successor.

It had been recently speculated that the 62-year-old could earn himself an instant return to the Premier League with the Blues.

However, The Mail suggests the Blues are not keen on signing up Pellegrini, and will move for either Antonio Conte or Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.

Chelsea have fared well under interim boss Guus Hiddink, and currently find themselves in 13th place with 30 points.
