The France international has been a consistent performer for Les Parisiens, who are destined to win the Ligue 1 title this season.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, the Premier League holders have been keeping a close eye on the player's performances in recent months.

However, Matuidi has a great relationship with the French champions, and the Blues would find it hard to lure him away from Parc des Princes.

The 28-year-old has amassed over 200 appearances for PSG since his move from Saint-Etienne in 2011.
