Nagatomo snubbed Man Utd

12 February 2016 - 16:29

Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo has revealed that he declined a winter move to Manchester United.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Japan international was heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford last month, but he decided to stay put at the Nerazzurri.

"I like everything about Inter, I want to stay here and renew my contract," he told Inter's TV channel.

"I turned down an offer from Manchester United, as my desire is to stay here. I have an excellent rapport with Roberto Mancini."

The 29-year-old has made just nine league starts for Inter in what has been a disappointing campaign for him.
