French giants Paris Saint-Germain could allow the sale of Manchester United target Edinson Cavani in the summer.
The Uruguay international has been forced to play in the wider areas at Les Parisiens with Zlatan Ibrahimovic owning the centre-forward postition.
Recent speculation had suggested that Cavani could stay put at Parc des Princes next season considering Ibra's contract is due to expire in the summer.
However, in a new twist to the tale, the Ligue 1 holders are willing to offload Cavani in a bid to find a younger replacement.
Manchester United are leading the race to sign the former Napoli man.
