  • According to The Mail, the experienced right-back has earned plaudits from the club's hierarchy though his excellent display in the absence of Pablo Zabaleta.

It is also known that the club will seek to extend the player's current deal, which is due to expire in the summer of 2017.

The France international has featured in 22 of City's 25 Premier League games this season.
