Manchester City are considered favourites to acquire the services of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer. The France international has been a consistent performer for the Old Lady since his move from Manchester United in 2012.
According to The Mirror, the Citizens look set to make a move for Pogba after Barcelona pulled out of a world-record deal for the central midfielder.
It is added that the Catalan giants have dropped their interest on their long-term target after Juventus refused to come down on their £72m asking price for the player.
Pogba has earned 27 caps with his national side.
