Chelsea sporting director Michael Emenalo was monitoring the progress of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba during last night's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

The France international has turned into a world-class professional since his move from Manchester United in 2012.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Emenalo had been on the stands to keep tabs on Pogba, who has revealed his intention to leave the Old Lady in the summer.

It is added that the Blues would still have to face a transfer tussle with interest high from fellow league rivals Manchester City.

Pogba has notched five goals and eight assists for Juve this term.
