Leicester City are considering a move for Roma legend Francesco Totti, according to The Sun.
The 39-year-old Italian fell out with returning Roma coach Luciano Spalletti last week, and was left out of the squad to face Palermo last weekend. The veteran striker was unhappy with the lack of attention he was being given by Spalletti, leading to a fallout between the two men.
The Sun now believe that Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri will look to take advantage of the situation by moving to bring Totti to the King Power stadium in the summer as a free agent.
Any such move does seem highly unlikely, however, as Totti has previously stated that he wishes to play for no other club than his beloved Roma. More to the point, the addition of a near 40-year-old striker would not seem to be a harmonious fit with The Foxes' high-energy, counter-attacking style.
