West Ham not keen on Ibra

Slaven Bilic dismisses Ibrahimovic talk

05 March 2016 - 07:25

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has denied suggestions that the club could recruit Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Sweden international is in the final months of his contract at Les Parisiens, and this has led to claims that he may ply his trade in the Premier League next term.

Recent reports revealed that the Hammers could consider a move for Ibra, but Bilic has poured cold water to the gossip by insisting that his side are not in the running to sign the veteran striker.

"I see we have been linked next season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Yes, we are ambitious and we are determined to progress. To be realistic, though, we are not yet a club who those kind of players would consider," he wrote in the London Evening Standard.

Ibrahimovic has netted 30 goals in all competitions for Les Parisiens this term.
