David Alaba has signed a three-year contract extension with Bayern Munich, keeping him at the Allianz Arena until 2021.
The Austrian left-back had been linked with a summer move to Manchester City, which would've seen him link up with his current manager Pep Guardiola, but this news will put an end to any such speculation.
The versatile Bayern academy graduate has been a key player for the Bavarians this season, having filled in at centre-back recently, in addition to his customary full-back role.
"I grew up at Bayern and I've experienced unbelievably wonderful moments here," Alaba said.
"We're all hungry to add further trophies to the ones we've already won."
