European giants Juventus and Atletico Madrid are said to be looking into a deal for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international joined the Gunners from Barcelona last season, and had an excellent campaign with the first-team.

However, his second season has been average with a hamstring problem affecting his form since the turn of the year.

A report from The Mirror claims that the Gunners have began talks over a contract extension with Sanchez amid speculation over his future.

Representatives from Juventus and Atletico Madrid are known to have made initial contact with the Chilean regarding a potential summer move.

Sanchez has scored seven league goals for the North London giants this campaign.
