Chelsea eye Christensen recall

Chelsea are considering the option of recalling Andreas Christensen from his temporary spell at Borussia Monchengladbach. The Denmark international joined the Bundesliga outfit on a two-year loan from the Blues last summer.

Christensen has since then impressed in the German league, and this has led to claims that Monchengladbach could seek to offer a permanent contract to the 19-year-old.

However, The Sun suggests that the West London giants may recall the teenager halfway through his deal as they look to make him a part of ther reveamped defence next season.

It is added that the young centre-back is wary of a return to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues seemingly keen on bringing in defensive recruits this summer.

Christensen has earned four caps with his national side.
