AC Milan keen on Juan Iturbe

04 April 2016 - 16:16

AC Milan are ready to offer an escape route to unsettled Roma winger Juan Iturbe. The 22-year-old joined Premier League side Bournemouth on a short-term loan during the winter transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • However, the Argentine-born attacker has since then struggled to earn sufficient game time at the Vitality Stadium thus leading to suggestions that he may head back to his parent club in the summer.

According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, the Cherries are unlikely to activate Iturbe's buy-out clause with manager Eddie Howe unconvinced with the player's abilities.

Adding to this, the Rossoneri are now leading the race to secure the player's signature in the next transfer window.

It is yet to be known whether Roma would be willing to offload their young star on a permanent basis.

Iturbe has made just two substitute appearances in the English league this term.
