Ter Stegen denies Man City link

06 April 2016 - 19:06

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has insisted that he has not agreed on any kind of deal to join Manchester City this summer. The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City said to be interested in his services.

  • Manager Luis Enrique has opted to play Ter Stegen in all Cup and European games this season with Claudio Bravo taking over the gloves for the league campaign.

It had been recently speculated that the German international had agreed to join the Citizens, however, the player himself has rebuffed talks over the move.

"It's not true that I have signed for Manchester City," Ter Stegen told Radio Show Al Primar Toque. "At the end of the season we will see what the situation is, and we can talk again then, OK? We have so many games at the moment, and that is all I can say.

Ter Stegen joined the Catalan giants from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014.
