Argentine striker Mauro Icardi has iterated his desire to stay put at Inter Milan beyond the summer.
The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea eager to land his services.
However, the player has rebuffed the speculation by stating his intent to have a successful career at the Nerazzurri.
"It's the same story every year. Every year I read that I am leaving Inter," he told Corriere della Sera. "But I am happy here. I enjoy being Inter captain, being the club's striker and to score goals here.
"Of course, I want to win trophies, but I want to do it here at Inter, like so many did before me. Next year we will be gunning for the Serie A title and to qualify for the Champions League."
Icardi has netted 14 goals in the Serie A this term.
