Sergio Aguero dismisses Man City exit talk

18 April 2016 - 06:33

Sergio Aguero has insisted that he will remain at Manchester City even if they go on to win the Champions League this season.

  • Dutch star undergoing his medical at Chelsea
  • Chelsea's deal to sign RB Leipzig midfielder falls through

  • It had been recently speculated that the 27-year-old could seek a fresh challenge in a new league, if he is to achieve European success with the Citizens this term.

However, the Argentine has rubbished the claims by stating his desire to stay put at City for the remainder of his contract.

"It has been said that I would go home if I won the Champions League," he told reporters.

"But I'm not going to go. I have several years left here and the Champions League is getting closer."

Despite an injury-plagued season, Aguero has gone on to net 26 goals in all competitions for the Mancunian giants.
