Man United have reportedly sent scouts to watch Sporting Lisbon’s hotly rated midfielder William Carvalho.

It is thought that Man United sent scouts to watch the 22 year old ahead of a proposed £27 million bid. The Portuguese has been on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs, and has often been hinted with a move to England. Arsenal have often been rumoured with the defensive midfielder, but have never made a bd. It is thought to be Man United that will look to sign him in the summer as a possible replacement of Michael Carrick, who looks set to be released at the end of the year.
