Bayern Munich make Alexis contact

27 April 2016 - 07:53

German giants Bayern Munich are reported to have made polite enquiries over the availability of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez this summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Chilean international joined the North London giants from Barcelona last season, and had a great spell in the first-team netting 25 goals in all competitions.

However, his second year has been a mixed one with a hamstring problem hampering his progress since the turn of the year.

The Mirror says the Bavarian giants have made initial contact with the player's representative over a potential summer move to the Allianz Arena.

It will be interesting to whether the Gunners respond to the approach given they are in a good financial position themselves to boost their squad for next season.

Sanchez has managed to net 12 league goals for the Gunners despite his average run this term.
