Bournemouth plan Mason bid

Cherries eyeing Mason deal

Bournemouth plan Mason bid

07 May 2016 - 06:17

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has been earmarked as a potential target for Bournemouth ahead of the summer transfer window.

  • Man Utd planning to replace Erik ten Hag after FA Cup final
  • Eddie Howe emerges as managerial target for Chelsea

  • The 24-year-old made his league debut for Spurs last season after multiple injuries and ill-conceived loan spells.

Mason followed up to feature on a regular basis in the first-team and this eventually earned him his first cap with the England national side.

However, the current season has been rather difficult for Mason with manager Mauricio Pochettino favouring the likes of Dele Alli, Moussa Dembele and Eric Dier ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to London Evening Standard, the Cherries are set to lodge a £6m for the player, who is said to be considering his options for the summer.

Mason has made just six league starts for Spurs this season.
