Man Utd planning to replace Erik ten Hag after FA Cup final
Manchester United are planning to part ways with manager Erik ten Hag following the FA Cup final against Manchester City this weekend.
The Dutchman has been the Red Devils' head coach for the past two years, but his position is currently under the scanner after a poor league season.
The club finished a disappointing eighth in the top-flight last term. They secured only 60 points while ending up with a negative goal difference.
It is now reported that Ten Hag could be dismissed from the helm regardless of the outcome of Saturday's FA Cup final against the Cityzens.
United previously sacked Louis van Gaal after the FA Cup success in 2016 and there is a good possibility that they could repeat the same.
Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenna has emerged as one of the front-runners for the job, but Chelsea and Brighton are also keeping tabs on him.
United are well aware of the situation and they could speed up the process of Ten Hag's departure to beat their rivals to McKenna's signature.
