Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is preparing a bid for Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew. The Ghanaian international impressed during his debut season in the Premier League netting 12 goals and assisting a further two.
According to The Sun, 'Big Sam' is eager to spend a handsome sum on players this summer as he seeks to keep the club above the drop zone next season.
The report adds Ayew is his prime transfer target following his impressive stint with the Swans during the previous league campaign.
The Black Cats are willing to pay a fee of around £10m for the player, who linked up with the Swans on a Bosman last year.
