James eyeing United deal

James wants Man Utd switch

19 May 2016 - 06:16

Colombian attacker James Rodriguez is eager to link up with Manchester United, should he leave Real Madrid over the summer. The 24-year-old has had a tough second season with the Bernabeu giants.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • Premier League outfit Manchester United are expected to ring in the changes this summer after they failed to earn a Champions League qualification spot.

According to ESPN, James has expressed his desire to join the Mancunian giants with manager Zinedine Zidane reluctant to guarantee him regular first-team football next season.

Nevertheless, it would take a huge task for United to land the player's signature with Real unlikely to come down from their £60m valuation.

James made just 17 league starts during the recently concluded La Liga season.
