Manchester United are set to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho as their next manager following tonight's FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
Recent speculation suggested that the Red Devils may have cooled their interest in the Portuguese head coach with Louis Van Gaal producing the goods during the back end of the season.
However, according to AS, the club's hierarchy have finalized a three-year contract with the 'Special One' and an official statement will be released regarding the agreement shortly after the Wembley showpiece.
It is added that the decision will not be altered irrespective of whether United go on to lift the famous old trophy for the 12th time.
Mourinho is expected to earn an annual salary of £16m with a further £4m bonus if he guides the club to the Premier League title during his stay.
