Swansea City are open to re-signing striker Wilfried Bony from Manchester City this summer. The Ivory Coast international has failed to impress since his £28m move to the Etihad in 2015.

  • Bony joined the Citizens at the start of last year with a view to playing a regular role in the absense of Sergio Aguero through injury.

However, he has since struggled to make amends in the City shirt, and this has given young graduate Kelechi Iheanacho the opportunity to thrive under the pressure of the Premier League.

According to The People,  the Swans are willing to pay a fee of around &pound16m to lure Bony back to the Liberty Stadium next season.

The 27-year-old had been a huge success at the Welsh outfit netting a goal in every other game for the club.
