Arsenal have reportedly rebuffed an approach from Manchester United for French defender Laurent Koscielny. The 30-year-old is regarded as one among the best centre-backs plying his trade in the Premier League.
French publication Le 10 Sport claims the Red Devils had made a tentative enquiry over the availability of the Gunners centre-back after Jose Mourinho earmarked the player as a potential summer target.
However, the North London giants were quick to tell United to forget about signing their asset, given they are in a good financial position themselves to boost their squad ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The player is also reported to have no interest in a move to Old Trafford.
Koscielny made 44 appearances for the Gunners during the recently concluded league campaign.
