Liverpool are set to renew their long-term interest in Barcelona winger Cristian Tello. Serie A side Fiorentina are also vying for the player's signature.
Tello, 24, returned to the Catalan giants following a two-year loan spell at Porto where he failed to earn regular playing time.
Spanish publication Marca reports that the Reds will be lodging a bid for the talented attacker with manager Jurgen Klopp said to be a huge fan of the player.
However, they would have to face stiff competition from Fiorentina who have the lure of Europa League football, something which the Reds failed to achieve during the previous season.
Barcelona are willing to offload their graduate provided any club matches their £5m valuation.
