Manchester United have been told to table a record sum to have any chance of signing former graduate Paul Pogba from Juventus. The 22-year-old left the Red Devils to join the Old Lady on a Bosman in 2012.
Pogba has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks amid claims that he could be sold during the summer transfer window.
The Mirror says United can have their graduate back at Old Trafford but only if they can manage to match a world-record bid of €100m.
Jose Mourinho's side are thought to be in a straight fight with Real Madrid after arch-rivals Manchester City pulled out of the chase for the player's signature.
Gareth Bale is currently the world's most expensive player having completed his €100m switch to Real from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
