Barcelona have joined the likes of Juventus and Manchester United in the race to sign Valencia playmaker Andre Gomes. The 22-year-old has developed into a top performer at Los Che, and this has earned him a regular place in the Portuguese national setup.
Mundo Deportivo says the Catalan giants are looking to add a central midfielder to their ranks with Andres Iniesta approaching the final years of his career.
The report adds that the club could make an approach for Gomes after they saw him in action for Portugal in recent friendlies against England and Estonia.
Gomes, who is currently valued at £30m, scored five goals in 41 outings for his club last season.
