Arsenal to table bid for Romelu Lukaku this week

Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku is the subject of intense interest this summer and Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be in the race to sign the Everton man. Lukaku has three years remaining on his Goodison Park contract.

Lukaku, who is considered one of Europe's finest strikers, has hinted that he could head elsewhere in search of European football at the highest level. Juventus and Arsenal apparently lead the pack for the Belgian international's coveted signature.

It is estimated that Lukaku will cost a reported 35m GBP and Arsenal have changed their transfer targets after missing out on Leicester City frontman Jamie Vardy.
