Chelsea striker Diego Costa is believed to be in constant communications with Atletico Madrid over a summer move. The Spain international left Atleti to join the Blues in 2014.
According to The Sun, the 27-year-old has held talks with Atleti officials as he bids to make a return to La Liga ahead of the new season.
Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain is the prime target for the Spanish outfit, but the availability of Diego Costa may well entice manager Diego Simeone to get a deal done for his services.
Costa made a name for himself at Atleti where he went on to win the 2013/14 league title - the first for the club in 18 years.
The striker has three years left on his Blues contract.
