Leicester City are lining up a surprise offer for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony. The 27-year-old's future is up in the air following Pep Guardiola's arrival at the Etihad.

According to The Express, the English champions could switch their focus to Bony after they failed in their attempts to land top target and Watford skipper Troy Deeney.

The 27-year-old is currently available on the transfer market with the Citizens nearing the signature of Celta Vigo forward Nolito.

Bony has largely flopped for the Citizens since his £28m move from Swansea City in January 2015. City are likely to demand a fee of around £20m for the player's sale in the transfer window.
