Arsenal are reported to have tabled lucrative offer for Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter. The German was in-and-out of the first-team under Thomas Tuchel last season.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on bolstering his backline ahead of a tough start to the 2016/17 campaign.
According to German outlet Bild, the Gunners have launched an opening bid for Ginter, who has fared well in the Bundesliga.
Ginter was recently left out of BVB's pre-season tour of China due to an infection. But, his absence has brought further question marks over his future at Westfalenstadion.
The 22-year-old has the ability to feature at either centre-back or in the right-back position. He was also part of the German squad which went on to lift the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
