Bournemouth have secured the signature of Brad Smith from Liverpool for a reported fee of £6m. The full-back has penned a four-year contract with the South Coast outfit.
The 22-year-old, who joined the Reds youth system in 2008, made 10 appearances under Jurgen Klopp last season.
Smith becomes the Cherries' sixth signing of the transfer window whilst he is the second arrival from Liverpool following the recruitment of Jordon Ibe earlier in the month.
"I am delighted to confirm that we have completed a deal to bring Brad to the football club. Brad broke through at Anfield last season and impressed whenever he was called upon," Bournemouth chief Neill Blake told the club's official website.
Smith, who can ply his trade at either left-back or on the left wing, has earned nine caps for Australia.
