Manchester United could confirm an agreement to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus today, according to reports in Spain.

  • Spanish sports newspaper AS is claiming that Manchester United could be set to announce that they have reached an agreement with Juventus for the signing of French midfielder Paul Pogba.

It is thought that United and Juve have agreed a world record fee of €110 million for the talented 23-year-old, with the player having agreed personal terms that will see him earn around €13 million per year.

United's pursuit of Pogba has dragged on for several weeks now, with rumours that Real Madrid were set to try and sign the player, but it now seems that the ongoing saga could be coming to a close.

Pogba is currently on holiday in the USA, and is due to return on 6 August. But it has been speculated that he could complete a medical ahead of signing for United as early as tomorrow.

Pogba previously played for United as a teenager, having joined the Red Devils from Le Havre as a 16-year-old.

Pogba was viewed as on of the hottest prospects within the United academy, but in 2012, he left to join Juventus having grown frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities he was being afforded by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Now Pogba could be set for a spectacular return to Old Trafford in a record breaking deal.
