Manchester United defender Marcus Rojo has turned down a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League. The 26-year-old is not in Jose Mourinho's plans for next season.
The Argentina international joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, and has since been in-and-out of the starting line-up.
Mourinho has highlighted his intention to offload Rojo in the transfer window, but it seems he would have to wait a little longer after the player turned down a switch to Shanghai SIPG.
United are looking to bolster their central defensive department, and a decision is likely to be taken only after Rojo's departure from Old Trafford.
Rojo is currently valued at £12m, which is £4m less than the sum paid to Sporting Lisbon. He was recently part of his national side that finished runners-up to Chile at the Copa America Centenario.
