Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has rejoined AS Roma on a season-long loan. The Poland international impressed in his temporary spell with the Giallorossi last term.
The 26-year-old appeared in 34 league outings for Roma last season as they finished third in the Italian league.
Szczesny had previously iterated his desire to return to Stadio Olimpico, and it is now confirmed that he will ply his trade at Roma for a second straight year.
Yes, I'm very happy," he told the club's official website. "Obviously after a good season last year, I knew there was a possibility of coming back and I was very happy that the coach wanted me."
Szczesny was recently part of the Poland side that reached the quarter-finals stage of the European championships.
