Fenerbahce are mulling over an approach for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata. The Spaniard could leave the Red Devils in the quest for regular playing time.

Turkish source Milliyet says Fener could revive their interest in the 28-year-old after it was evident that the player is unsettled at Old Trafford. 

Mata reacted angrily to Jose Mourinho over the weekend after he was substituted just 30 minutes into his second-half appearance in the Community Shield.

The midfielder is also a transfer target for Everton whose boss Ronald Koeman is eager to bring fresh faces to his midfield.

The Red Devils have placed a &pound20m price tag on Mata, who has emerged as a fans favourite at Old Trafford.

Mata has racked over 100 appearances for the Mancunian giants since his switch from Chelsea in 2014.
