Saido Berahino is unlikely to force his way out of West Bromwich Albion in the current transfer window. The striker has just 10 months left on his existing deal.
The 23-year-old had come close to joining Tottenham Hotspur last year before the Baggies hierarchy opted against his sale. He followed to have an average spell in the 2015/16 season with a vast amount of his appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.
The Baggies have been unlucky in the pursuit of new forward this summer, and it seems they would keep hold of Berahino for the upcoming campaign, The Mail says.
Berahino is also content at the Hawthorns as he seeks to bag a decent wage package when he departs on a Bosman next season.
The Burundian-born footballer netted just seven goals for Tony Pulis' side last term.
